Hi all Have just recently put new tyres on my F. Was worried about using Goodyear F1 GSD3 again although i have used these before ! no problems with handling! I did have 215s on the rear and 195s on front. I decided to go for Bridstone SO2s with 205s all round . I have been feeling a little unsure/ scitish with the tyres when pushing the car but not what i would say pushing very hard....not even what i would call fast road driving ... The feedback through the steering is not as sure footed as i had with the Goodyears F1.. Have i made a mistake with getting Bridstones ....? Has anyone else felt an unsure footed feeling with bridgstones? I am playing about with tyre preasures at the moment to see if this will help? regards

I think they are an excellent tyre for the F in both wet and dry. My only complaint is that I wear them out too fast! I run them at 30 psi all round on track and maybe ease that down to 28 on the front for road. They have a very stiff tyre wall and will give you a slightly harder ride, but certainly should feel as secure if not more so than F1s. Is your tracking OK? Might be worth checking.

There are many other causes of bad handling, Have you checked the tie rods, wheel bearings, bushes?
