Silverstone Arena Grand Prix Circuit
We are pleased to be able to keep the cost of this track day to the same as last year.

Beginners / First Timers please note
Due to restrictions in our contract with Silverstone we regret that first time track day drivers are no longer permitted to take part on the Grand Prix Circuit. Any first-timers who book this event will have their booking cancelled and their fee fully refunded. Please check your website user profile to make sure the experience level recorded there reflects your current status.

Two MG sessions
We are delighted to be able to offer a full day on the new Arena GP Circuit, as used for the first time at the 2010 British Grand Prix. The circuit is 1/2 mile longer than the previous GP circuit and the new Arena section is a real technical challenge. This is a three session per hour day with each session lasting 20 minutes. We expect each car to have 2 hours of track time throughout the day, assuming no stoppages. Two sessions will be MGs-on-Track and one session will be Lotus-on-Track.

Once all the MG session bookings are in we will assign the sessions on the basis of experience. One session will be more suitable for novice and less experienced drivers and the other for the more experienced and expert drivers.

Instruction is available
Instruction with ARDS instructors is available and can be booked online at the same time as you book your place. We strongly recommend that all levels of experience book an instruction slot, everybody can always learn something. For just £11 you get 20 minutes of personal tuition; with the instructor sitting alongside you in the passenger seat explaining the correct lines, braking points and providing guidance on technique. Instruction can be booked on the day if there are any unsold slots, but it is likely that only slots later in the day will be available.

Helmet hire
We have a small number of helmets available to hire on a first come, first served basis and these can be booked online at the same time as you book your place.

Details about the day
We will e-mail an event guide with final instructions during the week before the event, please read it carefully when it arrives. This event guide will also be posted in the Forum under the Silverstone New GP thread.

Cars must be road legal and comply with current MOT legislation where appropriate. Drivers must bring their FULL driving licence to sign-on; that means both parts for the modern plastic and paper licences. Failure to do this may mean you will not be allowed on track.

Booking is only through this website
You need to be logged in in to the website to see the 'Book and Pay' button. Use this to make a secure online payment to guarantee your place and extras. Debit and Credit Cards are the only form of payment methods we are able to accept. Please note: payment by credit card incurs a 2.5% surcharge, this is because we cannot afford to absorb the fee charged by the credit card processing company.

To get the MGCC member price, please remember to have entered your MGCC membership number in your website profile BEFORE you book a place.

Event Manager
Dave Livingstone is the committee member acting as the event manager for this day. Please contact him at dave@mgs-on-track.com if you have any questions.
