This event is the re-scheduling of the track day planned for 25th March which had to be cancelled due to snow. The costs for this new event are the same.
People who had booked for the March day and have confirmed their booking for September have now been transferred to this new event. The few cancellations that were received have been sold to people who were already on the waiting list so at the moment the event is fully booked, however we usually get some people dropping out so places may come up.

Beginners / First Timers please note that due to restrictions in our contract with Silverstone we regret that first time track day drivers are no longer permitted to take part on the Grand Prix Circuit. Any first-timers who book this event will have their booking cancelled and their fee fully refunded. Please check your website user profile to make sure the experience level recorded there reflects your current status. We are delighted to be able to offer this full day on the Silverstone Arena GP Circuit, as used for the British Grand Prix. The circuit is 1/2 mile longer than the previous GP circuit and the new Arena section is a real technical challenge. This is a three session per hour day with each session lasting 20 minutes. We expect each car to have 2 hours of track time throughout the day, assuming no stoppages. Two sessions will be MGs-on-Track and one session will be Lotus-on-Track.Once all the MG session bookings are in we will assign the sessions on the basis of experience. One session will be more suitable for novice and less experienced drivers and the other for the more experienced and expert drivers. CoachingMGoT is pleased to offer an opportunity to develop specific areas of you driving skills and so to increase your track day enjoyment. Before you spend any more cash on improvements to your car consider this. MGoT will now offer drivers, dedicated, one-on-one coaching with an ARDS instructor for your entire afternoon track time. InstructionWe encourage all drivers to take the opportunity of instruction with our Association of Racing Drivers Schools (ARDS) Grade A qualified instructors. We strongly advise all levels of experience to take advantage of these, but it is especially beneficial for first time and novice drivers. Book and pay at the same time you book your place. Please note we are unable to provide more than two instruction sessions per car. Any additional booked will be cancelled.Helmet hireWe have a small number of helmets available to hire on a first come, first served basis and these can be booked online at the same time as you book your place.Second DriversYou can book to bring along a second driver but we can only allow one additional driver per car. The second driver must sit as passenger during the sighting laps and then perform his own sighting laps at a lower speed during his first session on track. Details about the dayWe will e-mail an event guide with final instructions during the week before the event, please read it carefully when it arrives. This event guide will also be posted in the Forum under the Silverstone New GP thread. Cars must be road legal and comply with current MOT legislation where appropriate. Drivers must bring their FULL driving licence to sign-on; that means both parts for the modern plastic and paper licences. Failure to do this may mean you will not be allowed on track.
