Anyone know if the circuit is now allowing overnight camping yet? Can't see anything on their website dated after 8th April to say you can stay overnight.

I was there on Saturday for a Lotus event and the field on the left as you enter the circuit was full of camper vans so it looks like it is now OK. Best to give them a call to be sure though!

Re camping, the latest I have had from Combe is that camping will NOT BE ALLOWED; this now seems a bit odd if Lotus have done it so I will check with the office again next week and will report back.

Re camping: latest from the circuit is that camping will be allowed in the paddock but arrival must be between 15.00 hr and 17.30 hr; there is a car boot sale earlier in the day and the gates may be locked after 17.30 hrs. The circuit would like to know how roughly how many will be camping; please let me know the week before if you intend to camp and I will pass the numbers on to the circuit.

    Duncan....................................
Are you up for booking a table for Sunday nite at the Brewers Fayre??

  14. Duncan Wood

    Duncan Wood MGoT Secretary

I can book a table for 19.30hrs if that time suits.
    Who plans to eat?
    At present I assume:
    Peter
    James
    Martin
    Me

I think Colin has cancelled so that leaves Andrew and John?
If numbers exceed six I guess we'll need two tables.

    Cheers,
    Duncan

Thanks, Duncan. Count me in, please. Martin H is also dining and staying over once he gets there - problems on the M4 I understand - then you can all help me sort out the numbers and session patches!

Dear James, is Martin already stuck on the M4 or has he got a bad attack of premature pessimism in preparation for Sunday?

    Hi Duncan,
My usual accommodation for Castle Combe is fully booked (my daughter’s house in Bristol!) so unusually I’m staying at the Premier inn. If there’s still room for one more at dinner please book me in.
    Cheers, Dave

I'm staying at the Premier Inn too, can I eat with you please?

    Welcome Dave and Kevin,

A table for six unless Andrew and John will be eating, in which case we'll need two tables.

    Cheers,
    Duncan.
